St. Nicholas Concert Program |
Psalterium would like to substantially change and improve the dramaturgy of concerts as well as their quality. We are aware of the necessity to present the attractive names of well-known authors and performers at concerts; however, we also want to bring something new into Prague cultural life; we want to present musical works that have been performed only sporadically, we want to introduce compositions by less known but good composers. We want to give a chance to talented graduates of musical schools. The dramaturgy of the concerts follows not only upon the liturgical year, but also upon national holidays celebrated in various countries.
The Church of St. Nicholas in Malá Strana has always been one of the most important centres of cultural life and spiritual music in Prague. The Psalterium Company takes up this tradition with special concerts cycles. |

| CONCERT SEASON 2010 |
Evening concerts: From 27th of March to 2nd of November 2010, usually daily except Tuesday, at 6 pm. Duration of concert about 1 hour.
Advents, Christmas, New Years concerts: 27.11., 28.11., 4.12., 5.12., 11.12., 12.12., 25.12., 26.12.2010, 1.1.2011, at 5 pm. Duration of concert about 1 hour.

The church is not heated.
The church is open for audience 15 – 20 minutes before the beginning of the concert.
It is not possible to enter the church after the beginning of the concert.
